People in Britain are travelling less than Germans, Italians and the French, according to a new survey.
The research, carried out by HolidayPirates, shows that out of 11,936 respondents, 63 per cent of Britons said they had been on a holiday over the summer.
This compares to 75 per cent of Germans, 82 per cent of Italians and 86 per cent of French respondents.
Most UK bookings are for departures in 2021, according to the survey, and of those who have booked, 81 per cent of Britons will not travel until spring next year at the earliest.
