Report: 49ers DC Robert Saleh front-runner for Jets HC job

The New York Jets, unsurprisingly, need a new head coach after Adam Gase failed to lead the franchise to success in two seasons at the helm. They’ve interviewed several candidates since the offseason began, though one coordinator has recently emerged as a favorite to land the position.

According to ESPN’s Rich Cimini, San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh is considered the front-runner to land the Jets head-coaching job.
