Giannis: Jazz are the best team in the West

Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks fell victim to a 129-115 loss to the first-place Utah Jazz on Friday night.

The Jazz have won their last six games and sit atop the Western Conference with a 21-5 record. After beating the Bucks on Friday, Utah earned the respect of Antetokounmpo, who said the Jazz are the “best team in the West,” according to ESPN’s Eric Woodyard.

Utah had four 25-point scorers against the Bucks for the first time in franchise history. Antetokounmpo admitted that he felt a special connection to what was happening in front of him.

“It just looks fun. Like when I watch them play, it looks fun, it looks easy,” Antetokounmpo said. “It looks simple. For sure, they look like us last year, and man, when you’re at that point and you’re playing with that confidence, you’re hard to beat for sure.”

The Jazz are led by Donovan Mitchell, who is averaging 24.1 points per game, and Rudy Gobert, who is averaging 14 points per game.
